WHEN IS IT DONE ?

• When dental caries grows to an extent where the central part of tooth (pulp) gets involved Root canal treatment is done.
• It is also done in case where the tooth may be broken or fractured due to trauma.

HOW IT IS DONE ?

• When a tooth that is infected with caries an X-RAY is taken to know the damage, if it involves the central part of tooth that is the pulp, dental filling alone is not enough to treat the teeth, an RCT is required. It is also done in cases were tooth that is damaged by trauma.
• Root canals are done to save your natural tooth by removing the pulp and space left is filled with appropriate material to restore the tooth.
